A U.S. Navy veteran, Diogenes has led emergency operations during some of Iowa's most significant disasters, including the devastating 2022 Winterset tornado, earning recognition as the 2022 Iowa Emergency Manager of the Year. He has worked alongside local, state, and federal partners to coordinate disaster response, strengthen community resilience, and improve preparedness across both public and private sectors. Through Danger & Associates, Diogenes partners with businesses, schools, healthcare organizations, faith-based institutions, and government agencies to deliver comprehensive risk assessments, emergency operations planning, disaster exercises, leadership development, and preparedness training.
